 Foster Parent Puppies

Might you be the next Get-A-Wag Foster Parent?

Are you a dog lover that would like to make a difference in the world? You can provide a forever home to a mother dog that will be having therapy puppies for the Get-A-Wag Foundation.  Puppies are placed through that program to go to special need children and adults.  Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagles and the four other toy breeds that we place make wonderful emotional support animals.  Some puppies will go for pet placement. As a Get-A-Wag foster parent we need you to socialize and handle the puppies from birth until placement, usually between 8 and 16 wks of age.   The Get-A-Wag Foundation will make their placements.  Some compensation will come back to you to help with health prevention and food for the dogs. This is usually $300 per puppy.  Generally puppies are shipped by air, but some foster parents like to present them in person.  You traveling expenses will be compensated.  A support team is always available by phone to train you in being a Get-A-Wag foster parent and coach you in providing their care. .. Faq Is Empty ...
My name is Hunny-Bunn. I'm a Toy Boxer. I weigh about 17 lbs. and I have no health problems. I have one blue eye and one brown. I'm two years old. And I need a foster parent.

I have been the mother of Get-A-Wag Toy Therapy puppies. I raise my puppies to be pets and also emotional support dogs for special need children and handicapped adults. The Get-A-Wag program believes a mother dog teaches its puppies to be sweet and loving if the parent dog is in a secure, loving home herself. So I am now looking for my own forever home.

I would ideally like a quieter house with parents maybe with grown kids that aren't too rowdy. I need some time to adjust and I can do this quicker if I am in a home with adults. I want to be inside mostly, but I'd like a yard to exercise in but I need a fence to show me how far I can go. I haven't walked on a leash much because I've always been in a yard or pen but I will love to take walks. In the house I'm very good in a crate. I am quiet and I will keep it clean. With just a little patience I will be house-broken. I'd like to find a home with a parent that is home much of the time if possible.

Do you think I could be right for you? If so, please apply to foster/adopt me.

I'm still a girl with a career, so please read about the Get-A-Wag program here: http://getawag.org/raising_wag_puppies and fill out the online application.
